Peace education in Schools:

'If we are to create peace in our world, we must begin with our children.'(Mahatma Gandhi)

Peace clubs

  • To promote Gandhian values among students
  • to create an environment where harmony prevails in the school
  • to make learning attractive
  • to empower the child
  • to foster caring for each other
  • to make each school a Peace School.

Observation of Oct.2nd as International Empathy Day: Empathy is a respectful understanding of what others are feeling and experiencing. 'Every time you smile at someone, it is an action of love, a gift to that person, a beautiful thing.' Mother Theresa
Relationship based classrooms:
  • empower students to prevent and resolve their own conflicts
  • create a no-fault class room that facilitates empathy and respect
  • enhance students' emotional vocabulary and communication skills
  • to empower the child
  • co-create a classroom culture of respect, trust and cooperation
  • develop problem solving skills students will use for a life time ( Based on Marshall Rosenberg's world famous Nonviolent Communication Process).

Compassionate Communication

  • A communication process developed by the American Clinical Psychologist Marshall. B. Rosenberg Ph.D.
  • Helps us to communicate more effectively and improve quality of relationships.
  • Transforms the habitual ways we think and speak that hinder communication and create misunderstandings and frustration.
  • Helps us to develop a vocabulary of feelings and needs.
  • Helps us to work with commitment, compassion and creativity.
  • Deeper Democracy

    Deeper Listening

    A heart to heart listening, as you are, without any judgment, evaluation, criticism or preconceived ideas in an atmosphere of mutual respect and understanding.

    Yoga and Meditation

    For health, happiness and spiritual enrichment.
