  • empower students to prevent and resolve their own conflicts
  • create a no-fault class room that facilitates empathy and respect
  • enhance students' emotional vocabulary and communication skills
  • to empower the child
  • co-create a classroom culture of respect, trust and cooperation
  • develop problem solving skills students will use for a life time ( Based on Marshall Rosenberg's world famous Nonviolent Communication Process).

Society for Compassion And Peace (SCAP) is a non-profit charitable organization registered under the Travancore-Cochin Literary, Scientific and Charitable Societies Regulation Act 1955. It is promoted by a group of like-minded people comprising educationists, psychologists, peace activists, nonviolent communication supporters and student volunteers.

  • We work through awareness creation programs, group sharing, discussion forums, visits, pilgrimages, empathy support and need based help.
